Howdy atledreier, nice to meet fellow countryman in this forum.
Planed to tune it 15,5 hz, got my 20" sonotubes. Did also received my compass for the router today. Next week i`m planning to cut the top and bottom. I`m using 19 mm MDF in 3 layer. Well i`m not gonna describe this build now, pics will follow as this project proceeds.

The volum of the tube is 10.18 cu.in. (288.5 ltr) depending of how solid i`ll make the endcaps the net volum will be 9.7 cu.in. I`d hope to tune it at 14.5(not 15.5) as recomended, but the volum is sinking so if the tuning ends below 16 hz, i`m satisfied.

The full height of your 20" tubes with a 75cm 4" port will give you very close to 13.5hz real world tuning. I have mine set up that way. Triple layer MDF for the endcaps, with two layers sticking into the tube.

Ok guys, i have a delay in my sonosub project becouse some missing tools.
One last q before i starts.
The port is 30" x 6" tube with a 30 mm flange in both ends. This is a very long and thin tube. Is there going to be any resonance in it, should i support it down in the sonotube.

No need, unless you're planning on laying the tubes on side.
Thanks Atle, you have answered this q earlier, but my common sence says that in the tube there is a lot of pressure that will couse resonaces ,turbulence and distortion. I only want to be safe that my build is solid, its to late to do something better when it`s done. But if it`s not necessery, i will listen to your advice and build it without.
