Thank`s atledreier, has checked out your build thread, impressiv work.Feel free to check out my build thread. I've tuned mine slightly lower, but that shouldn't make a difference.
Where in Norway are you located?
Thank`s, i will not let your guys down, will post pics when i`m starting the build. My plans are to build two sonosub`s and 7 speakers for my HT- room. Has just started to build the speakers.Lets hear your design plan.It seems like forever since we had a new SS build around here. Im looking forward to seeing alot of pictures, Dont let us down. If you need any advice just let us know. :T
Did order the RL-p15 D2 to get the 4 ohm load for my amp.I would make sure to use a 6" port. Do not go with a 4" one. You will want about 33" X 6" to tune 9.7cf to 14.5hz. Did you order the D2 or the D4 version of the RL-p?
Ok, heres a picture of the driverunits. RL-p15, Seas CA18RNX, Monacor DT300 with the waveguide.Well.. You HAVE started building the speakers and haven't posted any pictures yet? :foottap:addle:
Thanks Atle, you have answered this q earlier, but my common sence says that in the tube there is a lot of pressure that will couse resonaces ,turbulence and distortion. I only want to be safe that my build is solid, its to late to do something better when it`s done. But if it`s not necessery, i will listen to your advice and build it without. No need, unless you're planning on laying the tubes on side.
