Hello All.
I am about to purchase an RL-P18 for my home theatre.:jump: Will the SQ on the D4 be any better then the D2? Either way, I plan to wire in series.

My amp:
QSC PLx 1602 -BRIDGED 8 ohms - 1100W, or 4 ohms - 1600W
Box – Sealed 4.5 ft3.

I have little feel for what 1100W will deliver, but I believe it is enough that I can sacrifice some power for better sound. Please let me know any opinions or experiences.

There won't be any SQ difference other than the D4 requires a slightly larger enclosure than the D2. Also your amp likes 4 ohm load better, so I would choose D2.

Also if you can, make your enclosure larger. Around 7 cu ft would be more closer to optimal.

Thanks for the input.

I would like to make the enclosure bigger, even ported, but there is a wife factor involved. I must disguise the Sub as an end table. - I'll post pictures once I start.
