My Samsung has about 30 1/16" diameter white dots spaced all over the picture. They are in the same place on every channel. I've had the tv about 2 or 3 years and it's been working great until this started a few weeks ago. Can this be fixed?

Bad DMD. Contact Samsung. I hear they are extending warranties on these.

I had the same problem, and I read some where that if you pull up the TV menu and the white dots are still visible over the menu, then that virtually guaranties the you have a defective DMD board, I called Samsung and my warranty had expire, so I got it of ebay.

I actually called Samsung and my warranty had expired but they still covered this problem and sent someone out at no charge to replace the DMD board.

Please follow up and let us know how it works out, i.e. what was your cost, what was replaced (was it the DMD chip only, the DMD board, or both?
