This is the screen material I am looking to buy:

http://cgi.ebay.com/140-movie-PROJECTOR-projection-SCREEN-MATERIAL-1-3-gn_W0QQitemZ120354369102QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item120354369102&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1308%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50

Any recommendations or advice? Does anyone have any thoughts on using Silver Screen or know where you can even buy DIY silver screen material?
I have no experience with this material but would love to have a cut off for spectro reading. And I could check the gain on it as well.

As for silver material, DaLite has http://www.hometheatershack.com/for...da-lite-screen-material-review.html#post49282 which I was impressed with. They say it's mainly for "polarized 3-D projection". 1.3 gain and a 60 degree viewing cone. It would be a great angular reflective option. If you're looking for a retro-reflective choice you can pick up DaLite's High Power material off the internet. 2.8 gain and a 60 degree viewing cone. The High Power would work very well for a large screen as long as the projector is table mounted. The Elite PowerGain material would be an option as well. But I don't think you can find that material on the net.

Any other recommendations for other fabric... possibly with a higher gain? I have heard good things about Da Lite High power for situations like this, but its way out of my price range. Looking to spend no more $200 on fabric right now. Maybe upgrade to something else down the line.
You could use blackout cloth until this blossoms into a usable method. :dontknow: But that could be months from now.... One thing we don't do here at the Shack is throw things together willy-nilly without and testing behind it. That's for the other forum.

Have you looked for any of Elite's material? Their screens are generally $500 or even less some times. Maybe you can buy the material sans frame. :dontknow:

Yeah I was just there as well. Nothing in the 140" range Silver Frame line which I reviewed here. The EzFrame screens are more. I always thought they'd be less. At your price I think you're stuck with the eBay material. Save me a cut off though!!!
