Playing TV thru A/V receiver. I have a Samsung UN60F6350 TV, Sony Blu-ray player, Direct TV Genie and my X-box all connected to my Yamaha 1020 via HDMI cables. The Samsung is a smart TV and I would like to subscribe to Netflix and play movies using the app/access on the TV and send the audio to the Yamaha and play it thru the home theater. I can access the Netflix video via the TV but I can not send the signal from the TV to the Yamaha receiver. All signal goes from the direct receiver, the Blu-ray player and X box to the TV via the receiver, how do I get signal from the TV to the receiver. As an alternative I could use the Blu-ray player to subscribe to Netflix but thought that I would use the TV. Any suggestions? Benbo

Well the TV has an optical audio output and the yammy an optical input have you tried just connecting the two that way?
