A sweet sonic beauty of an amp designed by the legendary designer John Iverson. (Google: John G Iverson for an interesting read.) I have owned many different amps, both tubes and solid state, but this unassuming Plain Jane looking amp is the very best and continues to satisfy with rich textures and musical harmonics all delivered with renowned bass slam and authority. It's rated at 120 watts per channel, but this monster amp pushes a TON of current and has HUGE capacitance and can drive any real world speakers load with ease. Here are the general specs on the amp:

Output Voltage:
29.7 Volts RMS at 8 Ohms

Load Impedance:
Greater Than 1.5 Ohms Music

Peak Output Current:
40 Amperes Symmetric

Rise and Fall Times:
2.6 Microseconds Symmetric

Output Operation Type:
Class AB

Bias Current:
150 Milli-Amperes

Power Bandwidth:
DC to 120 KiloHertz

Damping Factor:
Greater Than 800

Harmonic Distortion:
.0025% Typical

Intermodulation Distortion: .0035% Typical

Signal/Noise Ratio:
90dB below 20 Volts Output

Input Impedance:
100,000 Ohms Resistive
4 PicoFarads Capacitive

Input Sensitivity:
1.0 Volts RMS For Full Output

Signal Phase:
Non-Inverting

Input Connector:
1 RCA Phono Female per Channel

Output Connector:
1 set 5-way Gold Binding Post

Filter Capacitance:
160,000 MicroFarads

Dimensions:
18"x10"x6"

Re: Electron Kinetics Eagle 4 Prime - $750+Shipping

These are great amps. I don't need another amp, but if you decide to let it go for less I would give $450 for it.

Thanks for the offer. I'll hold on to it for that. Trying to generate some dough for an XPR-2 :).

It is worth what you are asking, IMO. Nice solid high current amp.
