So I am getting frustrated with REW and I'm sure it's an easy fix for someone who has gone thru this before. Here is my setup and signal flow:
UMIK Mic->MacBook Pro->HDMI Out (Soundflower)->Front HDMI Input of Oppo 103d->RX-A3040->Martin Logan 40s, 50XT, FX, Motion 2s, SVS PB2000.
I have read and re-read the setup instructions for a Mac/UMIK/Soundflower/HDMI, can get signal out of each speaker (one at a time), but every time I run signal it's full range on every speaker. The crossover settings I am using are 60hz for Front and Center and 100hz for surrounds. From what I have read, that would mean my sub is crossed at 60hz and I have the crossover on the sub set to LFE (bypass). YPAO for some reason has put a 6db boost at 240hz on the sub channel, but every other PEQ looks fine. But when I select a single channel on the Soundflower software, it always sends full range.
My receiver is set in the 'Straight' mode which simply takes the incoming format that it gets. Could this be the problem? Do I need to send simultaneous signal to multiple channels for the crossover to kick in (how do I do this)? Is there another sound mode I need to set the Yamaha to in order for it to grab the selected crossover?
I'm scratching my head big time as unless I can employ the crossover in the FR, I can't get a good feel for where I need to make adjustments. Thanks!!
