i was getting a yellow tinge in the center of the screen and when i turned the tv off there appeared to be a darker image like a star. i replaced the projector module but the star still shows a bit and there is still some yellow tinge in the center of the picture, but the colour seem a bit better, what do i have to do now?

Did you clean the rest of the light path, i.e. mirror? Are you using the same lamp? Lamps sometimes have discolorations in the reflector which can create an uneven distribution in the color of the light emitted that can remain even after the processing through the light path.
