Thanks guys, i appreciate your feedbacks, the damping material is 30 mm high density mineral-wool manufactured for sound-damping (rock-wool).

Didn`t planned to post anything more this week, but i have just complete the drawing of the legs. My major problem is to get time for my build. post more pics when i have done some more works.

Ok, now i understand what it means.
I will not reveal the name yet, you have to wait untill the baseplate is ready.:bigsmile:

News from far up north, the legs are finnished and ready for the baseplate.
What do you think, is this ok?

That really is new and very clever. Never seen that way of mounting the legs.

One thing though; What's the clearance from driver to floor with those legs? would be sad to run into extension or compression problems...

The clearance is 5 inches and i hope compression dont occurs, the aluminium is expensiv and i have no plans to make new legs.

LGL, will it have a down firing port? how large?

The port is not down firing, it is 6" x 30" and is assambled in the top cap, se the pics in this thread.
