First off I have an eD eq.2 for a SSF and light eq. EP2500 amp.
With my sub's nearing completion I have been running over everything in my head and trying to prevent any unexpected issues. I'm confident that I can wire up the subs, amp, and eq without any problems. I've read up enough that I'm sure I can get the amp and eq.2 setting pretty close except for 1 thing. The gain settings on the eq and my Onkyo receiver.
Now, from what I've read I just want to turn up the subwoofer out on the Onkyo enough to get signal through to the eq.2 and to the EP2500 but, what about the eq.2?
Should I just try to balance the gain between the eq.2 and the EP2500? It would be nice to use the gain on the eq.2 to be able to bump up power in times of need. Is that OK or should I use the amp?
Thanks in advance for any help/comments.
