I have been reading extensively on the forum and am taking the plunge on a DIY SonoSub.
I selected the Dayton RS315HF-4 and a Dayton SA240 plate amp.

I have a section of 18" Sonotube and want to use a 36" length for the sub.

I have modeled the project in WinISD and wanted to see if I am missing anything.

I am uploading the wpr file.

Looks good, just change the HPF to 18 hz from 20 hz. Here's a sonotube calculator to help with the dimensions.

Thanks for the reply Mike. Actually I had already checked out sonosub.

The SA240 is still on the way. I have confirmed I can modify the HPF and will change my WinISD file to 18Hz as you suggest.

The sub will be the last piece of my current upgrade to:

Denon AVR-1910
Definitive Technology
SM350 Fronts
C2 Center
BP1.2x Surrounds

All sounding awesome. Looking forward to replacing a rather anemic Sony 10" sub.
