I have used REW with a TASCAM US-144 without to much trouble but it's been a while.

I deligated the TASCAM to other duties and I'm trying to use the gernally more flexible EMU 0404 USB device and I can't get past go.

I can play music over it to analog or SPDIF using foobar ASIO plugin. But I can't get anything output through the generic windows driver with foobar or rew. Usually these device default to analog.

The spdif emu device does show up in list but not the analog.

I think the input is working but not sure since I can't generate anything.

I'm on vista.

Ugh I got it working.

I uninstalled TASCAM driver and made sure the OS was not defaulted to the EMU (so it wouldn't try to grab it) And it's working. Strange.
