Hi all.

Does anyone know of a fix to stop the humming. Its so loud that we need to unplug the sub when its not in use. Looks like its a common problem with them. Even if I unplug the audio cables it does it

Is the sub plugged into a good quality power bar ($50-$100) that has some noise filtering? It could be a bad florescent light or other appliance on the same phase causing the noise.

Yes its on a good power strip. Even put it on one by its self. I looked at reviews on Amazon for it and that was the #1 complaint. I love the sub but don't want to unplug it all the time

sounds like a problem with the built in amp. Sadly there is probably not much that can be done.

I actually got one of those 500w amps sold for kits and modified the hole in the back where the current amp is. Works really well! All problems gone now. I'm still using the original MK speaker. I think mine is a 10 or 12 inches though.
