How do I place the mic to measure my DIY Tannoys DC's ( 3839 in 140 L reflex cabinet )
Did some measurements ( nearfield ) with Umik-1 but see some strange dips and clips .
The sound is great ! but want to get the max out of it .

Typically need to be 1m away on the tweeter axis, but it depends on how the designer intended it to be listened to - some speakers need more distance to integrate properly. You also need to be as far away from surfaces as you can get, outside with the speaker standing on a tall pole is good but outside on the ground is next best (assuming you don't have an anechoic chamber to hand), but there will be a dip due to the ground reflection.
