It is hard to determine much from the information that you gave. Check all of the fuses, see if the power supplies come up, and contact any Toshiba distributors in your area for a manual.
No way to know without testing. What measurements or testing have you done? What supplies come up, and/ or shut down? Have you found and checked all of the fuses? Most sets have several.cyber02000 said:hmmm yes good idea..!!! but can you answer my this question about the mosfet or flyback driver..??? thanks
It may be that you won't find the service info that you would like. Most manyfacturers only release manuals and training materials to authorized servicers.oky a little history first.... the set was with my dad for 6 years ... and it wasnt cleaned for 5 years :yikes: so an year back due to high voltage the fuse was blown out so i changed it and the set was working fine then after exactly 7 months it started to flicker with black horizontal lines and returned to normal after a minute or so...but the problem got worse it would flicker and then go to standby .....and now it wont even open i can hear the caps and power supply charging up but they dont supply power to the guns and go to stand-by..!!!
for what testing i have done...
1.Checked all the caps on the hyper-board, they are all fine
2.give the power supply board to a tech nearby he said their is nothing wrong
3.Checked all the connections
4.Cleaned the set again.
5.i cant get to the inner side of the t.v because its pretty tricky to open up the front, seems as if i have to take everything out and then reach the three screws that are behind the wood case holding the front panal
and where can i find this chassis number....i searched every peace of code written on my set on the internet....nothing comes up..!!!
but i do know its a copy of the japanese set 43jh7uc...but the service manual of this set is in jap and with completely wrong diagrams..!!!
