What do you mean when you say the color wheel is fine. Also where did the lamp come from?

nothing happens i plug it in makes no noise what so ever i plug it in the power light starts blinking right of way and i hit the power button nothing happens no noise no picture no nothingDo you hear the color wheel spin up, then slow down slightly as it locks on speed followed by the ballast firing? If so the color wheel is not a problem.
By far the most common scenario is a bad lamp, then someone buys a cheap replacement that does not work and assumes that there is a problem elsewhere. I would look at the ballast and the power supply and spy for any swollen caps, look for the spark gap arcing to tell you that the ballast is firing.
