Here is a posting of a graph I made of my subs response in my room. I'm running an SVS-PB10-ISD sub. But there is no way my sub's response could really be this flat, can it? I have to have something configured wrong. I tested using 1/12th Octaves. I used the Calibration files for the old RS meter from this forum before measurement.

Also, if my sub's response is supposed to follow the blue line, how come REW doesn't detect any peaks in the measured response? I would image the whole curve would be a peak since it is above the target response curve?

I'm using a Soundblaster External sound card, the old RS analog SPL meter, and the BFD 1124DSP as my PEQ. I'm using a Dell Inspiron 9400 dual-core laptop as the platform.

I had the same problem.

You need to set your soundcard to Line in and use the Line in socket.

At the moment you are monitoring your soundcard internally.

On the Creative Soundblaster Live! card that means "What you hear" is set (as default) in the surround mixer instead of Line in. (which you want)

Check the help files at the top of the BFD/REW forum for illustrations of the required settings.
