This is a Mitsubishi model, so your post was moved from the Hitachi forum.
41 is a short detect. These sets have had pervasive problems with capacitors failing in the chassis. I strongly suggest that you have a Mitsubishi authorized service center estimate the repair, which should include sending the chassis to Mitsubishi for a rebuild in which they change well over 100 parts. Do not let the servicer change any caps, but insist that Mitsubishi rebuild the entire chassis. This normally has a retail price of $500 for the rebuild, plus the labor charges for the servicer to remove and reinstall the chassis. Once you have the estimate, contact Mits consumer relations and ask for some relief on the repair costs. They handle every case individually, but many clients have had the chassis rebuild covered. Expect to pay for the servicer's labor and service calls, if any.
