So I setup REW on my laptop and ran some measurements but am getting strange results. My frequency response has a very large upward tilt. See attached. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Tried 2 different speakers to make sure it wasnt a speaker issue. Using Radio Shack SPL meter for my mic. Soundcard is a Sabrent USB device.
Any ideas?

Yes to both. I used the meter calibration file on this website. I also calibrated the soundcard using a loopback connection as directed.

If that was an RTA measurement then be sure to choose the PinkPN noise, not white noise.

We can optionally measure using the sweep method. It controls the signal and capture conditions for us; no settings needed. Both methods have their uses.

[If this was sweep measurement, I have no clue.]

Seems to have been a soundcard or cable issue. Switched from the right mic input to the left and that seemed to fix the problem.

It was a sweep measurement. Played around with the soundcard and switched from right input to left input on the mic and that seemed to resolve the issue.
