Hoping this is the right place for this question.

Looking for a little input from any of the forum sub gurus on wiring a dual voice coil (4 ohm each) sub to a two channel amp.
The amp is not bridgeable and will muster 400 watts per channel at 4 ohms.
What I'd like to do is wire this so that one coil is powered by the left channel and the other coil by the right channel of the amp. Each channel of the amp would be fed a mono signal from the AVR preout.
Any concerns with sound quality or any other issues that I'm not seeing?

Just to confirm my WinISD signal tab: I should enter 800 watts for the signal, correct?

You should have no probs running 1 coil on each channel. Just make sure gain control is set at same position for each channel.

And 800watts in winisd is correct.
