I'm not in Mesa but close enough if you want to take a drive to CA.

Mine is Ninja Mod and you can PM me your offer since I have no idea how much these go now.

Thanks,
There is a pair on Audiogon that is also in LA going for $999 OBO.

Those aren't Ninja'd though. Hugh's are Piano Black (right Hugh?) and and fully Ninja-fied.
Yup,

It is fully Ninjafied with NoRez and it's Piano Rosewood. :)

F-100 had a pair for sale about 1 1/2 years ago with external upgraded crossovers. He ended up deciding to keep them. He is also in the LA area and might still have them.
Vedder323 you have a PM
Thanks Mark!

BTW Before I get carried away, you guys that have the Stratas... Will they work out in my room? 10Wx11Lx10H?

Im concerned they wont have room to breathe...

:thanks 1: for the plug.
Yes, I still have them sitting in the corner in my house and collecting dust since I'm more into HT & Karaoke now. No time for serious critical listening session but I'm in no need to unload them at cheap price. :)
It's a ways away, but they sure are beautiful. http://www.chasehometheater.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3890
The minis do best in a small to mid sized room, you should be good.
Thanks Mark!

From my personal experience, I've used the SP3 & Odyssey Mono amp (150WPC) in my system with the Mini Strata and they sound A LOT better with the Odyssey.

Check out this article if you don't believe my words. :fryingpan:

"The downside of planar drivers is that they tend to need lots of amplifier power (low sensitivity)"
Not going to argue that that planar drivers normally need power, that is well know as they are generally low efficiency.

tube watts dont equal SS watts....

A pair of multi thousand dollar mono's sounded better than the sp3 in your room, I wouldnt doubt that

But did you see his room size? its 10X11X10 that should be an easy room to power with an SP3 and Mini's

My room size is about the same. I know tube watts don't equal to SS watts but that SP3 doesn't have enough power to bring the best out of the Strata.

Here is a Strata review from the Pros and notice all the high power amps that was used in the review. :)
