So I was able to upgrade my living room to the onkyo 3010 and was wondering what would be a good choice for my bedroom? It's a 7.1 setup and is connected to a benq 1070 projector.. mostly watch sports from directv and movies streamed from a Sony blu ray player.. which one would you want?

No, there are no consumer projectors that do 4K at this time. 1080p is fine as the 906 will have no issues with that. The HQV in the 906 will help with anything 1080p or under and that covers everything available right now as far as bluray is concerned.
4K is still baby and needs to mature. It's a solid 3 years before 4K becomes widely available with consumer products (reasonable priced 4k projectors etc)
