Hey guys, it's been a while since I have been here. I just upgraded my subs to dual SVS SB16 Ultras. They sound great already but wanted to see if their onboard EQ can tweak the last bit of sound for me.

My Microsoft Surface laptop doesn't have an HDMI out, but uses a display port out, which I believe behaves exactly the same way as an HDMI. When I hook everything up, I am not getting any sound when I try to have REW generate a tone or measurement. I am getting video, as I can see the REW screen on my projector screen. When I played a YouTube video, I was able to hear sound so I believe it is all set up right.

Does anybody know if this type of cable works with this software or not, or should I just keep playing with the settings?
