Problem with UCA202?

I think my UCA202 is bad. I am trying to calibrate it with the loopback hooked up. I get an output signal but no input signal. I have tried both channels and have searched this forum for a solution but haven't found a thread that describes my situation. I'm pretty sure I have it hooked up correctly. Anyone have any ideas?

One way to check the performance of your UCA202 is to download another piece of ( audio recording ) software such as since it offers a recordable audio input .

It's cross platform, which is handy for those using the Mac .

Work with it to see if you can get input / if so / you don't have a problem with your UCA202 .

If you can't get input in that setup / then that's 2 strikes against your sound card / time to add a third input scenario ( if that fails ) then it's time to return the 202 ( or junk it ) .

The third piece of free software ( to check for input veracity on a PC ) can be the basic ( free ) version of
